Scotland Yard Hack

A 17 year old has been arrested on suspicion of committing hacking attacks including one against Scotland Yard’s anti-terrorist unit’s telephone system. The April 2012 Scotland Yard hack was a denial of service attack committed using automating Skype to repeatedly dial phone numbers. The TeamPoison hacking group has claimed responsibility for around 1400 hacking attacks in total, including BlackBerry maker Research In Motion. The UK’s Computer Misuse Act makes it illegal to access a computer system or alter data without authorisation.
